Friends of UCLA Choral Activities, founded in 1999, is a group of select individuals dedicated to the support of choral music at UCLA. We invite you to become a Friend of UCLA Choral Activities by making a tax-deductible donation to UCLA Choral Music.
As an avid lover of choral music you are no doubt aware of the potential power of our mission to enrich the lives of audiences and students here at UCLA. If you would like to take part in this mission, please take a moment to consider becoming a Friend of UCLA Choral Activities and a supporter of great music in the Los Angeles community.
UCLA Choral Music has been praised by music educators across the nation and abroad as being the ultimate expression of the choral art. In addition to presenting worthwhile concerts each quarter, UCLA choirs recently made special guest appearances at Carnegie Hall and the California Association for Music Education conference. In spring 2008, the UCLA Choral Music will tour China with performances in Beijing and Shanghai – the first out of state performances of a UCLA choral ensemble in over 13 years!
UCLA choirs and you, our appreciative audience, deserve the very best. State funding cuts have reduced our operating budget to nearly zero.
